Brandon Mechele

The story of Brandon Mechele is a boyhood dream. Growing up in the coastal town of Bredene, he joined Club Brugge's youth academy in 2002 at the age of 8. He progressed through all the youth ranks and made his debut in the first team in 2013 at age 20. Since then, except for a short loan to STVV, he has been a fixture in Brugge's defense. Mechele is not a man of big words or spectacular actions, but a model of reliability and dedication.
